Two Chargers Earn All American Honors

Charger Baseball Players Joe Sutton and Johnny Dow earned national honors this week by landing spots on The JBB's All-American squad.  Sutton earned second team honors after finishing the year with a .427 batting average, 7 doubles, 4 home runs, 10 stolen bases, and 30 RBI's.  His OPS for the year was an eye popping 1.238 and he played a stellar third base for the Chargers.

Johnny Dow was selected for the honorable mention team after leading the country with 6 wins and posting a minuscule 1.05 ERA to go with 41 strikeouts and 0 walks in 34.1 innings of work.  Dow's WHIP 0.85 is also among the best in the nation at any level.

Sutton and Dow were leaders on a Charger team that ran off a 21-4 record and are just the latest Chargers to earn post season accolade. You can see the release on The JBB website, The Official Home for Junior College Baseball at thejbb.net/2020/05/01/202
